IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE MEMBERSHIP
 
The Annual Meeting of the members held Wed., December 4, 2024, lacked the quorum necessary to conduct business. Pursuant to the bylaws of the Avondale Homeowners’ Assn., Inc., the meeting was adjourned for the purpose of soliciting additional proxies. The Annual Meeting will be reconvened on Wed., December 11, 2024 at 7:30pm.. The meeting will will held at the offices of Crippen @ Co., CPAs, 1900 SE 18th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34471. The Board will proceed to secure sufficient proxies to meet the requirements pursuant to our by-laws at Article III, Members and Member Meetings, Paragraph 3.7, Quorum, sub-paragraph (i),

A copy of the meeting materials was hand delivered to your property address on November 23rd. Please complete your proxy ballot if you have not already, and place it in the AHOA mailbox located at 2920 SE 23rd Avenue at your earliest opportunity. If you plan to attend the meeting you can withdraw your proxy at that time. A copy of the proxy materials is attached for your quick reference. We need a quorum of the membership to conduct business. Your co-operation is appreciated.
The Annual Meeting this year will again be held at the offices of Crippen & Co., 1900 SE 18th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34471 which is located in the Deerwood Office Complex.

REMINDER: Quarterly Board Meeting Notice – 04/13/2022

QUARTERLY BOARD MEETING REMINDER NOTICE

This is a reminder of the upcoming Board Meeting scheduled for Wed., 4/13, 7:30pm. All members are welcome to attend. The meeting schedule and location for all 2022 quarterly meetings was emailed to the members on or about January 3, 2022, and, thereafter, posted to our website. Arrangements are underway for the above meeting to be available via Zoom for those members interested who are unable to attend in person. A link will be provided in a separate email.

At this time, the Board would like to make clear that it is charged with responsibility of enforcement of the Covenants, Restrictions, and Easements (CREs) for the Avondale Homeowners’ Association, Inc. This authority is found at Article VI of the “bylaws” of the Association. The CREs and Corporate Charter are found on our website under the ‘Governance’ tab. It is the responsibility of the individual members upon purchase of property in the Avondale subdivision to comply with these rules of the community. You were advised of these responsibilities upon your purchase of the property.

At this time, we would direct your attention to Article 7 of the CREs titled “Architectural Control’ which provides among other things that any contemplated improvement to the exterior of your lot visible from the street must be submitted to the Board for approval prior to commencement. This would include, but is not limited to, painting, roofing, landscape modification, and etc., etc. PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY, we do not wish upon you the need for a do over.

We would further direct your attention to Article 9 of the CREs titled “Use Restrictions” which provides limitations on certain activities within the subdivision. Any request for variance from the plain language of these use restrictions must be brought to the Board for consideration in advance of any departure from these rules. PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY, by way of example, the Board does not wish to have your mobile personal property towed off, but will do so if it is inappropriately parked on any street of the subdivision. There is to be no open parking on any common area which includes the streets of the subdivision. Street side parking is only permitted appurtenant to your lot.

Your attention to the above referenced matters would be appreciated. Please join us at the Board meetings.

2022 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS SCHEDULE

Your Board will meet throughout the year on a quarterly basis with the
meetings scheduled for the second Wednesday of the months of
January, April, July and October. They will be held at the offices of
Crippen & Co., CPAs, 1900 SE 18th Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34471,
beginning at 7:30 pm. Dates, times, and meeting place are subject to
change. Any changes would be noticed to the membership. Meetings
are open to all members of the Association. Active participation in the
affairs of Association by its members is encouraged. The annual Board
meeting will, immediately, follow the adjournment of the annual
meeting of the membership. Pursuant to the by-laws of the Association,
the annual meeting of the membership is held the first Wednesday in
December at 7:30 pm.
