We believe that we have an un-welcomed guest in the neighborhood. A cayote has been spotted on SE 23rd Avenue below the SE 28th Place cultisac. We would caution residents that these critters will eat small pets. We also advise that small children should be monitored while outdoors. Cayotes do not have a fear of human beings, and can come up and get very close and personal. Their habits include being present during the day. They are part of the dog family. Do not pet them!
