Avondale Homeowners Association Board Meeting
April 11, 2007
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: By President Robert Taylor at 1900. Board members present were Robert Taylor, Jackie Croton, Steve Floyd, Desiree Brown, and Eliza Smith. A quorum was established.

SECRETARTY REPORT
There was no secretary report for the month of March due to Eliza Smith was not present at the March meeting and no other board member took minutes of the meeting.
TREASURER REPORT
Was read and accepted. See handout attachment. 1st by Desiree Brown 2nd by Jackie Croton. Bills paid. Steve went on to say he had been contacted by the title company regarding any liens that were on the Kinkle property. Steve to work with the title company.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
David Otzel reported that that he had talked to a few homeowners about the boats and feels it is under control. He approved a black door for Sheila Patterson. David is to talk to the home owner across from Steve about the boat in his yard. Steve has spoken with the home owner and had been assured that it would be removed but to date has not.
No other committee reports at this time.
OLD BUSINESS
- Question the lites need a new sensor replaced. Lites are on early in the evening and stay on long into the day. David Otzel will check out the sensor. It is thought that it is not the hedge growth that is the problem.
- Thanks to Connie Quigley for continued follow up on the light problem. The lite was repaired by the City of Ocala.
- Elaine Gangelhoff expressed concerns about the sprinkler system and the inside of the fence. The association has heads that are to be pointed to the burm for watering. Explained there has been issues with the pump and well level. Will once again look into hooking up to city water. To check old records to see who volunteered to look into the matter.
- Tom Coleman has done an awesome job building a web site for Avondale. Need to continue with its development.
NEW BUSINESS
- Letter form legal forwarded to Robert regarding the Kinkle property.
- David Otzel asked the board of consider asking Connie Quigley to be an official greeter for Avondale. Connie has been doing so on her own. Board voted to ask Connie if she would like to take on the responsibility with the boards blessing. Robert Talyor will ask her.
- Yard of the Month, Jan: Larry and Janice Marlin, 2319 SE 30th Place.
- Yard of the Month, Feb: Roxanne Schwaller, 2314 Se 30th Place.
